The Works began life as a recording studio in Stockport, servicing the likes of Snoop Dogg and Timbaland. Now, 10 years down the road, we are a video production company based in Gloucestershire, servicing the whole of the UK.

STUDIO RECORDING
Why not kill two birds with one stone, and record your music video as you actually record your demo? We can liaise with the recording studio, and attend the session on the day of the recording to capture your performances as well as behind-the-scenes footage.
LIVE VIDEO
If you have a gig approaching we could attend with a range of cameras, and we can either sync the footage to your demo recording or take a feed off the sound desk and mix the live sound to the video. Many bands find themselves performing more naturally on stage, and it would give potential fans an idea of what you can do live.
CONCEPT VIDEO
If you have a particular story to tell with your video, we can work to create your own unique video. We can create a story board from your ideas, scout for locations, cast actors, and make your ideas a reality.
EQUIPMENT
We use our own professional Sony PD170 camera, and edit in Final Cut Pro. Depending on your needs we can hire in extra lights, cameras, track etc.
EXPOSURE
Previous budget videos have been broadcast on MTV2 and Channel U. One video has had over 50,000 hits since being placed on Youtube.

Hi there, just dropping you a msg to let you know what we do. Sugar House Music is primarily a production label working on band demos through to record label releases. We are also currently signing acts to production/management/artist referral deals to help further bands we feel of potential, by working on every aspect of the band, from songwriting, production, recording and passing the act onto our list of industry contacts.
As an offshoot of this, we also have a record label to release bands we like that we haven't produced a recording for.

At a stag party up on the Scottish island of Jura a friend of mine played me some tracks by Louis 'Oak' Anderson that he wanted me to hear. I really liked it and I ended up producing an EP for him. I was lucky enough to get Iain Dixon on flute (Ian has played with Primal Scream and turned down Van Morrison). This was in 2006 and then the master tapes were stolen by a skaghead in Manchester. In March 2008 I finally manged to recover the sessions and mix it. a couple of years later and I'm glad I managed it.
