   About The Wright Brothers
The Wright Brothers is a collaboration between two of Edinburgh's best-established songwriters. As well as being a co-founder of Out of the Bedroom, Nelson Wright was an original member and songwriter for Flowers for Algernon, a band compared favourably to the likes of Aberfeldy by the local press. Norman Lamont, with his earlier band The Innocents, was winner of Edinburgh Acoustic Idols' Best CD and Best Live Act in 2006 and has a comprehensive website at http://www.normanlamont.com They've shared stages on many occasions, and always talked about working together. The Wright Brothers will focus on the lighter and more upbeat parts of their repetoire, with occasional forays into their impressive back catalogues.

echo and the bunnymen are good =], i like the darker background stuff.. its catchy too =].
yeah I like pavement, they have a more laid back nirvana feel i think.. its good. lindsay recommended them too hehe.
grinderman have a strange ani difranco lyrical feel to them, but a guy and more reverb, i quite like that =]].. tis like 2 very contrasting styles mixed (poetic and grrr) its nice.

sigur ros are prob my favourite out of all those.. its quite beautiful, even though you can understand as word they are saying, not many bands seem to get away with speaking in a different language with all us english speaking folk.

the Wise Guys are a pretty catchy german band, if u havent heard of them, u shud have a listen.

im not sure, how dark and intense you like music.. but some of nightwish's music has dark guitar but speaking on top abit like your dream song.. it's just intense and has opera singers, very heavy metal and a full orchestra bits too... http://uk. youtube. com/watch?v=tFkWRPNx4gY

thats just one of the few times iv heard something similar.

Yes we'll be your friends.
Yes our drummer still has a mini drum kit.
But conversely only tends to play it with other bands.
We hope all is well in the land of Wright.
We hope we will see you soon out and about on the seen (scene)
Kindest regards
