My name is Christina Katz and I'm the author of "Get Known Before the Book Deal, Use Your Personal Strengths to Grow an Author Platform" and "Writer Mama, How to Raise a Writing Career Alongside Your Kids" (both from Writer's Digest Books).
I teach e-courses on platform development and writing nonfiction for publication. My students are published in national magazines and land agents and book deals. I have been encouraging reluctant platform builders via my e-zines for five years, I've written hundreds of articles for national, regional, and online publications, and I am a monthly columnist for the Willamette Writer.
I speak at writing conferences, writing programs, libraries, and bookstores, and I host the Northwest Author Series in Wilsonville, Oregon.
