well the town i'm stuck in right now has a few decent places to play. The Downtown Tavern is the best for tunes. Two good friends of mine own the joint and are always looking for new sounds. My buddies are playing tonight--every Monday is "Grill & Chill" bring your own meat, and they grill it.. always a good time. Nashville is well, Nashville. :) i frequent there as well... if you guys are looking to come closer this way, i know quite a few ppl & could always make a few calls..
