The Wrong Trousers went on tour last summer. CLICK ON THE JOURNAL TO READ OUR TOUR BLOG!

The Wrong Trousers are a trio from San Diego, CA. Kelsea(19), Joseph(18) and Mack(20) met while playing together in their high school music program. As they gained popularity around school and in their small community they decided to venture out to find a wider audience. They began playing on the Prado at Balboa Park on the weekends and quickly gained many new fans. Their unique and original sound that combines harp, mandolin and upright bass with harmonic vocals often stopped pedestrians in their tracks. A video of them performing their cover "Video Killed the Radio Star" in the park has over 200,000 views on YouTube and was picked as one of the 50 Best Music Videos of 2007 by pitchforkmedia.com. The Wrong Trousers have appeared at the Adams Avenue Roots and Folk Festival and are becoming regular fixtures at local venues like Lestat's West and Mueller College. Kelsea and Joseph also play behind San Diego singer/songwriter Gregory Page and have performed with him at Anthology in SD and Largo in LA. The band has spent the past year writing new music and recording with San Diego jazz great Peter Sprague at his studio in Encinitas, CA. The Wrong Trousers released their debut record, "One and Counting..." on December 21, 2007.

cornbread	May 30 2009 10:27 AM we have so much hunger and homelessness in our own back yard and on our own streets. and we walk right by, and sometimes over it, hoping and praying they don't ask us for anything. well today and all weekend i challenge you to join me in a miss a meal campaign. my friend joe taught me this model that i am extending to you with a twist. give up one meal a day on saturday and sunday and go deliver a meal to someone who can't provide it for themselves. find them. it isn't that hard. don't leave it up to someone else to do. the small hunger you feel by your sacrifice will help you remember why you are doing it. hunger sucks. i suggest you go with a friend. try to speak to the person you choose to help, if they are willing or able. most people at this point begin to get uncomfortable. good. get outside your comfort zone. it is getting to the point that humans are so disconnected that if a dog was in the street, it is more likely to get help than a human. i am not suggesting that dogs aren't worth it. i think you understand me.
