One day, as Ruth was drifting up the river, an enormous spaceship came crashing into her canoe and capsized it. Out crawled Lucy, who had been on an amazing adventure to the stars. As Ruth's boat was broken, the two decided to eke out a living busking on the streets of Norwich and singing in pubs for free beer. One stormy night, as they were battling their way up a mountainside in Northern Iceland they came across a cave, filled with cymbals and congas. They had stumbled on the abode of Pedz. Immediately the trio hit it off and Lucy and Ruth persuaded Pedz to leave his mountainside home to come and join the band in Norwich. He discarded his fur coat into the ocean and they all set off in an abandoned helicopter taking nought but a snare drum and a triangle. They enjoy making up songs, playing baseball and mining for gold.
