The Buddha would teach us that many events are the result of prior actions, that there is a universal karma that ensures we get what’s coming to us. It’s out of this philosophy that the Xcentrix were created in 2003. L’il Buddha and Buck knew that, where you invested positive energy, you would reap the rewards of that investment. A great deal of hard work, late nights, and extensive practice has resulted in a compilation of musical material that celebrates the best of the blues tradition, updates it with solid modern rock, that will take you back and propel you forward at the same time. The songs will feel familiar and urgent at the same time, comfortable but a little dangerous, with a little ying offsetting the yang. Throughout the contravening years, the line-up filled out with Steverino and Johnny No, but the underpinnings of the approach remain the same.
