The X Squad was formed by five aspiring and very talented teenagers from Chicago, Illinois. They met and became friends in 2006 while attending the same school. During their friendship they found that they all shared a love for music. The outcome of hours spent in the studio and working hard created The X Squad.
The X Squad consists of Producer/Rapper; Adrian “Xspo“ Harvey II and Rappers; Stanley “C Tray” Peavy, Rory “Flame” Harris, Chris”Ace” Neyland and Joshua “Yung J.R” Reedy.
The X Squad is a group of young men working hard towards success in the music industry. During the short time since the conception of The X Squad, they have appeared on the “Ninja Show”, (shown on local access channel 19-Chicago). They have performed on stage at the Maywood Fest, Bellwood Fest, Taste of Austin, All Stars Talent Network and have opened up for some well-known artist.
The X Squad has done Radio and Newspaper interviews and has also been recognized in a local underground magazine. Their single “Shawty Get Low” was 1 for 5 weeks on Chicago’s radio station 107.5 WCGI during the radio’s “Go-ILL Radio” hour. In there quest to make a name for themselves and to show off their talents, they have taken part in many talent shows through-out the Chicago land and Northern Indiana areas.
The X Squad has found associations with All Stars Talent Network, Positive Productions, M.A.G.I.C and many Back to School functions throughout the Greater Chicago land area as a thoroughfare towards their goals. X Squad also volunteers time to organizations such as D.A.R.E and has participated in feeding the homeless and walks for breast cancer.
The X Squad’s music brings a lot of impressive lyrics to exciting beats. This is an assured step forward for the X Squad. Not only are they maturing as rap artist, they are fortunate to grow together with their verbal skills and the talent of a young producer... who gives the X Squad, wide-ranging beats upon which to work their charm.
The X Squad continues to enhance their musical talents by working with other producers, songwriters and artist. X Squad is a burst of energy, versatile and full of flava. They command staying power and leave you wanting more.
