AcDc mostly old 1970's Acdc stuff, XTC, Who, Slits, Velvet Underground, Vibrators, Fugazzi, Minute Men,Toy Dolls Wire,Radio Birdman,Blue Cheer, Sub Humans UK, Jhonny Thunders,NiN,MotorHead, Buzzcocks, Primus,Babes in Toyland, Iggy, X,Flipper, Prince, undergrounf punk, Industrial, surf, hardcore whatever (way way too many bands to add here, also we do support alot of local show) and pretty much anything that comes across as real, from the soul life experiences.
Sounds Like
We don't want to sound like anything that you can pin point out! We play original music, with an original guitar/bass style that's it! If you don't believe it, come and catch us at a show and dare to try to compare us, you might come up with some names but.. not really. Anyway.. high energy.

WOWWEE! WE GOT INK! THANK YOU LITTLEBOOK! (DEC 2008)
The Yes Go's were started by Sophie V writing music & playing songs on the guitar. In 2003, Lester Moore joined as drummer & back-up vox. With the addition of Mimi on lead vocals and Barbara on bass that summer, we became "Wednesday Night". 5 days before our 1st gig, Mimi & Barbara (our Hungarian Hotties) were not allowed to stay in the U.S.A. (visa probs!) & we played our 1st show as a duo called Sik Suzan. In 2004, Blue Lew (Rotton Core), joined the band on bass & b.vox. We played shows off/on and had lots of fun, but we (BL. not inc.) drank too much, and we still didn't really have an identity. Through Blue Lew's departure in Summer 2006, it was back to a duo & the new name of The Yes Go's fall '06 when the multi-facetd Djuna Gray became our bass player. It's been balls to the walls ever since and The Yes Go's love to play (alot) & can be found playing with many local & touring bands. We are continually amazed at the talent we see at all of S.F.'s venues. We are proud to share the bill with & be awed by such killer bands. Go out and see some shows cause we support local venues and killer music as well, cheers!
Sophers! Baby! Thank you for the keeeler birthday wishes!! And I seem to recall a certain little Yes Go having a birthday recently, too!! So happy birthday to you too, rock star!!!
