The Yesterdaze favorite passtime is performing the best music of the 50's, 60's and 70's
Originally from Brooklyn, N.Y. "The YesterDaze" are a four piece band consisting of guitar, bass, drums and keyboards.
Tommy on drums, Allan on guitar, Pete on bass, and Mike ..boards with all of us singing lead and backround is a combination allowing us to turn our dreams in to reality.
Combined, we have experience playing club dates as well as backing up such groups as The Capris, The Belmonts, The Drifters, Bobby Lewis and others name acts.
It's great to be able to be a small part of keeping the music we love, Alive.
Influences
Sounds Like
In addition to playing as a quartet, we have had the distinct pleasure of performing with Jim Yester, founding member and an orginal lead singer of The Association over the past few years. I have to say that although his biography is SO impressive and his talent is unsurpassed, the one thing that stands out is he is one of the nicest people you could ever meet.
I thought I would include a video montage of us playing and we look foward to performing with him for many years to come.

3 Cheers for the cheerleader of vocal group harmony, Christine Vitale. We repost her pitch:
Your non-commercial R&B/doo-wopp radio and internet program, The Group Harmony Alley (GHA), heard Sundays at 6-9pm EASTERN is gearing up for its February Fundraiser. Please help preserve the pantheon of R&B/doo-wopp by keeping it on WFDU-FM's airwaves by pledging your support to The GHA! We are a listener-supported FM radio program and ask your support just once per year.
I thank the listeners for the support in the past for The Group Harmony Alley. It is only through financial support that The Group Harmony Alley will continue to air and stream on WFDU-FM. February is the annual drive to not only to keep non-commercial, listener-supported WFDU-FM operating, but to demonstrate to WFDU that The GHA has a solid base of listener support.
The GHA is holding its on-air fundraiser at 6pm EASTERN on February 1,8,15 & 22. I ask listeners to call 201-692-2012 to make a tax-deductible pledge of financial support each of these Sundays, while I'm on the air.
Each year, I renew my pledge to YOU as a volunteer DJ at WFDU-FM, to provide a diverse mix of cuts from our underexposed genre that are a part of and related to R&B/doo-wopp musical history. The survival of it depends upon continued exposure of these records and artists. WFDU-FM are gives these artists a voice. Its OUR music. Your stewardship is MORE THAN altruism; it is preservation of OUR MUSIC.
