THEY KNOW is an original and authentic, Pennsylvania-based Rock n Roll Band. The tunes are an emotional, eclectic, contagious and melodic mix of straight up rock, San Francisco – inspired jams and ensemble-like exploration and improv.
THEY KNOW has a growing reputation for energetic live performances, and a vast repertoire that continues to grow and change from show to show.
Most of us grew up playing music together in the Philadelphia area back in the 1970s. As happens, folks drifted apart to other Coasts and even other countries. All continued with their musical endeavors, both solo and with various bands for nearly 3 decades.
With all members now back in Pennsylvania (from Southeast to Northeast), we have once again fallen into a nice groove playing when and where we can for the sheer joy of making music.

The band is currently working on studio recordings with Alan "Jax" Bowers at Mudcut Studios in Milford, PA. Some clips are here for your listening pleasure. Stay tuned for the finished product by the end of 2009 !
