The Poisoners are an eclectic 5 piece alternative melodic rock/metal band, who draw inspiration from such disparate genres as punk, industrial, grunge, blues, nu-metal, emo/post-hardcore, post-rock, doom, and black metal.
Formed under another name in 2002 from earlier 90's metal bands, The Poisoners have played countless shows, supporting a range of touring bands of different genres (some examples are Mz Anne Thropik, The Wrath, Rollerball, Headkase, Hotel 44, Signal The Firing Squad, and Bonesaw), and has seen former members go on to such acts as Arcane and Adastreia (UK).

BONESAW and DEAD END KINGS will be tearing up the Clarence Corner Hotel with all manner of booze-fuelled METAL on Saturday Nov 21st.
Both bands will be playing originals, as well as covers by PANTERA, SLAYER, METALLICA, SEPULTURA, MACHINE HEAD, LED ZEPPELIN, GUNS ’N’ ROSES, SYSTEM OF A DOWN, KISS, THE DARKNESS and SPICE GIRLS!
