The Young Sons, founded in 2007, were a rock band from North Carolina, co-fronted by singers/writers Jon Lindsay and Justin Williams. John Cates was the only drummer in the group's history, but there were two bassists: originally Justin Turner, and later, Mike Mitschele, who also did some vocals in the band as well. Though there were several recording sessions in the life of the band, The Young Sons made only one full-length album, 2008's "Hearts Inc.", which contains only 9 of the 13 songs tracked for the record. "Hearts Inc." was recorded in Chapel Hill, NC, at Max Indian's Old Pillow Studios, and additional tracking was done by the Houstons' Justin Faircloth at his home in Charlotte, NC, and also with Chris Walldorf at Charlotte's Sioux Sioux Studios.
