They Sang As They Slew.
Four guys living in a small town.
At one time we were known as Canary, and managed to release one full-length album called A Sound Of Summer Running, as well as a split E.P. on the Cut and Paste Collective imprint.
Playing music has allowed us to share the stage with such outstanding acts as Elf Power, Five Eight, Pedro the Lion, Saxon Shore, Maseratti, Now it's Overhead, Psychic Hearts, Luxury, Viva Voce, Damien Jurado, and a plethora of excellent local bands.
Running in My Head is a really good song...that's all I wanted to say...nothing more. I don't want to come across as one of those gushy fans that ramble on and on and saying nothing. You won't catch me doing that because that's just stupid and really immature and shows how some people have nothing better to do with their lives than to find a band that they really like and try so hard to impress the band members that they end up bugging the crap out of them to the point where the band is forced to delete that person from their list of friends. I don't ever want that to happen to me because you guys are awesome and your new album is like my favorite...oops I didn't want to say all that, I just wanted to say that Running in My Head is a great song and I am really glad that you decided to put it on your profile so I can come listen to it. Not that I can't listen to it on my ipod anytime, but for some reason it sounds better when I listen to it on myspace...I feel more of a connection with you guys when I listen to it while looking at your pictures of your live shows...it's sorta like I'm there at a live performance watching Doug do his thing while he plays bass, Aaron banging his drums, and Jamey and Jordan jamming on their guitars while Jamey belts out the lyrics. I'd better stop though because I don't ever want to be accused of rambling .
