Lineups are subject to change.
Iconoclastic noise, exploratory improvisation, hypnotic droning, and authentic "musique brut" have for decades been strong undercurrents affecting movement in Houston’s music (and art). They deeply impact what we hear and feel on the surface. But these scenes (or phenomena – underground music is often not coming from a ‘scene’) also produce many of Houston’s most well-known musical exports (unbeknownst to most Houstonians – even in the music and “cultural arts” communities).
“They, Who Sound” will offer two sets sampling a diverse range of underground music in Houston (with a potential for visiting artists as well). These shows are not to be missed.
