Sounds Like
People have compared me to a lot of artists who sound nothing like each other, which proves that it just depends what song you’re listening to. It may also indicate the rapid spread of insanity in our society. I won’t stress about it, though, because all these guys have sold a few records. I have been told that I sound like (here we go!): Elvis Costello, Frank Zappa, Queen, P. Diddy, the Rolling Stones, Joe Jackson, the Who, Bob Seger, Bauhaus, Warren Zevon, Neil Diamond, Tom Petty and blah blah blah. But I must admit, more than anyone else lately, people have been saying I remind them of David Bowie. No wonder it’s hard for me to categorize my music!

December ’ 07 - David Kaufman contributes lead and rhythm guitars to the rocked-up Alexis Stone Lopez version of "Winter Wonderland." Released as a Christmas compilation of American Idol alumnis, this track became the most downloaded on the album by a mile. I am so glad you put the stripper back on here... great track... when I was working with Findley last just before I moved out to Dallas TX I stole that line "Cool your Jets" from this track and wrote a tune round it.. Best Wishes Tom
