    The Zoggs first formed in Hermosa Beach during 1994 by Garrison Frost, Marc Theodore, Erik Bluhm and Steve Coulter. The band (originally called "Bookmobile") regularly performed around the South Bay with occasional swings along the coast from San Diego to San Francisco. The majority of the band's energetic surf music was released on compilations and 45s through Theodore's legendary punk label, Theologian Records (Pennywise, 98 Mute, War Called Peace). Bookmobile came to an end in 1997. In 2008, Coulter found an old Bookmobile rehearsal cassette and decided to reform the band. He eventually re-enlisted Frost and Theodore from Bookmobile, with Tsar bassist Jeff Solomon stepping in on bass. The band was renamed The Zoggs and recorded a 6 song, self-titled EP released on <a href="http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/Zoggs">CDBaby</a> and iTunes. Several of the songs from that session were featured on MTV television shows in 2009 sparking interest for further recording and live shows. One line-up change later, The Zoggs have started booking shows for 2010 and beyond...
