The Zoids get together with no pre-conceived ideas. We make it up and record it on the spot. Creating as opposed to recreating, i s'pose.
Who else but the Zoids could write songs about animals, plants, inanimate objects and the way they view the world? Gary Larson meets rock'n'roll. There is something in the Zoids for every venus fly trap, whirlpool, rejected fish and endoplasmic reticulum. Catch a ride with this train of thought and see things through a different light.
The Zoids formed in 1998 from the nucleus of a botanic band called Thrive (or Thrush according to the local gig guide!). Look forward to more phibriescent mp3s from the only alternative rock band writing about natural disasters.
Recently added, a number of songs which were jammed on. (Many of the lyrics are just spontaneous gibberish!)
