Ted the Elephant, Leroy the Zebra and Harold the Anteater live in an apartment together. The three of them are employed at the local zoo where they grind the nine to five. Molly, the hottest zookeeper ever contrived, is in charge of making sure they're 'working,' which includes everything actual zoo animals do: As little as possible without getting fired. But work is the least of the trios problems. Between cursed kitten tattoos, professional peanut butter eating contests, knife fights, space aliens, or feral cats falling from helicopters, these animals have hardly any time to get the job done.
Voiced almost exclusively by musicians, rockstars, and the creative alike; The Zoo is an animated half hour comedy in the vein of Family Guy, The Simpsons and South Park.
Who's who at the Zoo?
The concept already has Matthew Jenkins onboard (character design/animation on Aqua Teen Hunger Force), Mark Hoppus (from Blink 182/ Plus 44),Justin Pierre (from Motion City Soundtrack), Adam Lazzara (from Taking Back Sunday) and Jordan Pundik of New Found Glory, Bob Ferrari of The Pink Spiders among others to do the voice talent. Potentially interested in doing guest appearances are members from Fall out boy, My Chemical Romance, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Family Force Five, Relient K, House of Heroes, the Almost, Gnarlz Barkley, and the sky is the limit on who else. Shadow Machine Films, the studio responsible for Robot Chicken and Moral Orel, and The Firm are behind to produce.
So here we are, getting geared up and getting ready to make a whole series! We can't wait til it airs, and hopefully you can't either! (but seriously, you'll have to, it takes a long time to make cartoons)
Thanks for the accept, and keep up the good work! I am launching a campaign through my webite page on Environmental issues, http://geocities.com/widgeripoo/environment.html to give all new developments 'Green Roofs', and to encourage people to grass over the roofs of their houses, hotels, office blocks, shopping precincts, etc, even garden sheds and garages. Gordon Brown has pledged his commitment to 'green issues' and I believe this is a way forward to save wildlife and the planet, - and to save flooding, maintenance costs, and a whole lot more. I would like to propose that all new housing development should make use of Green Roof technology, as this will help recover some of the green areas that are lost through such developments. It is a Ground-breaking, far-reaching proposal, which I believe will be a winner for us all. Please support this by redirecting this message to all the people you know...
