Siendo su formación original, trío (conformado por, Emibass en bajo y voz, Max en batería y El Sr. H en guitarra y voz).,,Sus influencias provienen del rock ingles, de la mano de artistas como David bowie, Joy division, The Clash, Manicured Noice, Radiohead, The Cure, Blur, o bandas americanas como Pixies, Pavement, Sonic youth, etc. ,,El estilo de la agrupación esta basado en canciones simples influenciadas por la sensibilidad y por los artistas que les agradan y emocionan.,,A partir de la mitad de este año (2008) el trío pasa a ser cuarteto con la incorporación de Padre negro (chino) en guitarra y voz.

Thompson Family (THF) began its work around 2007 in Ramos Mejía, Buenos Aires. They first started as a trio: Emi in bass and vocals,Max in durms and Mr. H in guitar and vocals.
Their musical influence comes from british rock with bands and artists such as David Bowie, Joy Division, The Clash Manicured Noise,Radiohead, Blur and US rock bands like Pixies, Pavement, Sonic Youth among others.
THF's style is based on simple songs created by sensitivity and the arstists they like and admire.
In the beginning of 2008, the trio welcome a new member: Padre Negro in guitar and vocals.
