My interests include:
Walking, martial arts, reading (science fiction, fantasy and political texts mainly), political debate, politics, languages, economics, going out with friends and travelling.
I also enjoy demonstrating my utter superiority in scrabble and its variants over certain people.
Music
I like music from a variety of sources, but mainly music that has a strong beat to it including:
Rammstein, KMFDM, Seeed, Skindred, Dead Kennedys, Eminem, Vanilla Ice, Asian Dub Foundation, The Clash, Run DMC, Missy Elliot, Some classical music.
Movies
Goodbye Lenin, Run Lola Run, Apocalypse Now, Equilibrium, Matrix (only no.1), Those Magnificent Men in their Flying Machines, Monty Python films, Bowling for Columbine, Highlander, Dogma.
Television
Hardly watch any television, most of what's on it is complete rubbish. Doctor Who is fun though.
Books
I mainly read science fiction, fantasy and political literature, although I'll read anything. Recently I've read Mind the Gap by Ferdinand Mount (on the British class divide) and Pandora's Star by Peter F Hamilton. My favourite book is The Good Soldier Svejk by Jaroslav Hasek.
Heroes
I don't really have any heroes, I suppose I admire Ghandhi and Martin Luther King.

About me: About me... Hmm difficult...
I've just finished my A-levels and will be going to university to study PPE at Oxford soon. When I'm not lying around the house being lazy (it takes up a lot more of my time than most people think) I'm often being an amateur politician - UK Youth Parliament dontcha know, or doing things for the Liberal Democrats, especially LDYS (the youth and student wing of the party). I'm also a martial arts killing machine (I wish :P), I've been doing karate for 10 years along with a little bit of judo here and there, and I'm tolerably good at it. I enjoy going out with my friends, but not to noisy events, I like going out with people and then being able to talk to them - as far as I'm concerned conversation is the whole point of friendship and it's a skill too many people are lacking in.
If you want to talk to me, my msn is: thewheelweaves@hotmail.com
Who I'd like to meet: Anyone who has interesting things to say, anyone out of the ordinary.
Hi! As a friend of SPiT LiKE THiS, we wanted to share some amazing things that have been happening surrounding the release of our debut album, "We Won't Hurt You (But We Won't Go Away)".
Since the CD has been available on pre-order, it has been selling like crazy and, as I write it is:
The 19th best-selling Rock pre-order on HMV. com (out of 440)
The 8th best-selling Rock pre-order for it's release date, 17th Nov (out of 144)
Obviously, we are totally blown away by this but we're of the belief that it CAN DO BETTER!! At the moment - until it's release next Monday - the 13 track album is just £6.99 with free shipping! We are encouraging everyone who is going to buy the album to make the purchase NOW and save yourselves a few quid.
We are also encouraging anyone who has ever considered buying a SPiT LiKE THiS CD to buy it now. After all, at £6.99 you can't really go wrong. It is the perfect introductory price to get you to take a chance on us.
Here is a clip from one of the online reviews: "If there were any justice in the world, for every new GnR album sold, this album should sell 2. A masterpiece!"
If you aren't keen on HMV. com, the album is also available from Play. com, Amazon. co. uk and most other online retailers. Also, as from Monday, it will be in shops up and down the country. As it is part of the Cargo Collective for December, it will be in loads of indie stores plus it will be in a lot of mainstream High Street stores. Some of you may need to order it over the counter though, so don't be shy - DEMAND IT!

Teebs,
It has come to my attention that a grave error has been made. Since I am not in your top 8, I am in fact ranked below MING CAMPBELL.
Now I may not be an ex-Olympic athlete or the leader of a political party, but has Ming ever played twister with you or taken you on in a poking war? I think not :-P Surely you must agree, these are the true foundations of any friendship?
xxxx
Well, if I was ACTUALLY complicated and mysterious, I wouldn't have a large chunk of writing entitled 'About Me', would I?
Hence the winking type smiley. :P
Well that's because it's never seen you get mad :P
But that's excellent, it means I can blame my so called lack of scariness on the test being rubbish. I am in fact quite fearsome. RAHHH!
