Electric & upright bass were my first pick and keep me busy, but I always find time for singing and playing harmonica and some guitar.
I started music at 13 playing bass in a Punk band, quickly switched to upright bass for fast slapping Psychobilly, then Rockabilly, Hillbilly, Bluegrass, Honky-tonk, BLUES or Jazz.
Blues is my main thing, but I'm just a roots player. Whether it's Rhythm & Blues in any form, R&R, Boogie-Woogie, Rockabilly, Country, Soul, Gospel, Jazz or Swing... I love it all, and play it as well.
I got the "French bass player of the year" award, by the Trophées France Blues (French blues awards) for 2000, 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005, and got nominated several times for harmonica.
I perform my recordings myself in my basement, about everything is recorded live, using only two microphones.
