Thick Brown is comprised of three jerks from schuylkill county, pa. Three friends whom all played in previous bands decided to jam one day at a friends studio. It all started out they were just gonna jam occassionally, but the chemistry was there and that notion was history. The three practiced a couple days a week and eventually started playing out all around the county. The fan base continued to grow all over schuylkill county with fans supporting thick brown fur shirts at the local shows. After Thick Brown Fur polished their songs they recorded "Chest Wig" at their friends studio. The band went on hiatus for a short while, but have recently began playing again when they find the time.
