We took our name from a French newspaper headline "Thieves In Suits strike city" simply because we thought it'd make a good name for a band.
Forming from the ashes of Edinburgh 2-piece garage rockers The Very , we did'nt actually begin rehearsing until the autumn of 2007, as one one of us was busy making badges in London. With a mission statement of making pop songs to make feet move and heads bob we finally played our first show in February 2008 at Edinburgh's Liquid Rooms.
Still with our feet firmly rooted in the capital, we are writing new material,playing live,and putting together a debut album
for release towards the end of the year.

Hey Scott and company, hope the EP design-a-rama went/is going well, I forgot to ever email my design but when it's all done you can get some beautiful T-shirts made up at Scott's olde workplace, in fact why don't you come down and screen print them yourselves and do a London gig too!!

Loooove the new band ! ,amazing drumming as usual , great songs too. Love all the drum parts but the drum part on stitches is out of this world , really jerky and weird just like you lol . We're playing at Citizen Smith (old Filthy McNasty's) on Saturday - hoping to get a residency there during the festival, so come down and bring some friends! It'll be a covers/originals kind of gig. Thanks for the studio info too
