I am really digging your marathon premium CD, Playing Hooky. Boy do those songs have hooks. At least five of them are bouncing around in my brain simultaneously right now!
Sorry I don't usually comment during the show. Although I'm quite capable, the local constables frown on texting while operating heavy machinery. They should pay more attention to dealers teaching kids to make illict street drugs from a few rocks and Ajax.
Hey Pseu, glad to meet you! As a lazy DJ in a previous existence I marvel at your extensive play lists, and interview subjects (Crispin Glover??). I'll try and catch your show on Fridays as I can't seem to access the archives for my listening pleasure. Looking forward to the hooks! (not if I was Patrick though, ouch!) -Julie
It's funny, I saw that when it came out, and then again on our honeymoon (there was a movie channel on the cruise ship TV) and I still gots to say that song is a pretty close relative of "Human" by the Human League (or Jam & Lewis, depending on how you look at it...) n'est ce pas? I know this much is true.
My life changed in every conceivable way after performing (hell, co-hosting!) Thing With a Hook. Doors opened to me that I could never have imagined, hotties asked for my number, a chorus of unbathed, underfed children ran behind me singing Anthony Newley songs. I thank you.
Hey Pseu - thanks for sayin hi, ol' pal. Your show ( "Pseu's thing with a hook") is great, as you know, and I had a great time appearing on it not too long ago. I'll have to send you some new tunes of mine -- in fact, I have some on my page right now! Whoa......... Doug
