It all started way back when... Mom & Dad listened to the Beatles, James Brown and Elvis, then the first two albums my brother and I got were Gary Numan (Pleasure Principle) and Meatloaf... and then Kiss. From there it was Black Sabbath w/Ozzy, Led Zepplin, The Doors, and Lynard Skynard. When MTV came out I got into U2 and Prince; prince stayed around for yrs till i had to say goodbye ;) I also got into some jazz stuff, a little rap, progressive rock, and the guitar guys like Vai and Satrinani, Uli Jon Roth, Hendrix, Clapton and Trower, etc.

Thinking Man Studios is a project studio run by James D. Harvey acting as a producer / singer / guitarist / bassist / keyboardist - programmer, sequencer/ engineer working with various people / acts / bands over the years. Essentially, Think of 3 (Acid Reign) used to be comprised of Josh Drennenm (bass and vocals), Peter van Emberg (drums) and James Harvey (guitar and vocals)... Visions 1 (Lifeblood, behind the Veil) was Mike von Flotow (guitar and programming) and James Harvey (vocals)... and Tainted Virgin (Plan 9 and Autumn) was Cedric Crouch (guitar and programming) and James D Harvey (vocals).
I'll be changing the songs every so often just to keep things fresh... the new songs (Hard to Die, The Chase, and Know Me) were written, produced, and played by myself with the exception of of guest vocals (Know Me) and percussion (Hard to Die).
