Influences
Elvis to the Beatles to James Brown... then it was Lynyrd Skynyrd, Led Zepplin, AC/DC, The Doors, Black Sabbath, and Prince for a number of years.... then Nirvana, The The, Love and Rockets, Gary Numan, U2... now its Moby, U2, Michael Knott, and various christian bands like Skillet, Switchfoot, MuteMath, The Fray, etc... but the most influential overall is The Father (God), The Son (Jesus Christ) and The Holy Spirit (i.e., Think of 3) for apart from Him we can do nothing.

The story begins like most; I once was blind but now I see. It's like the song Amazing Grace... a sinner saved by grace who was given the gift of faith. Raised in an abusive home riddled with alchol and violence... turned to sex, drugs, and rock-n-roll to ease the pain... but nothing helped unto that one fateful day when I was given a choice between Life and death / good or evil. Thankfully, I chose God instead of the satan / the devil/ the world and its ways. Hopefully some these songs, inspired by the joys of salvation and the pains of life, will touch your life and encourage you to seek the Only One who can Save.
BAND OBJECTIVE: With a love for God the Father, The Son Jesus Christ and The Holy Spirit (i.e., Think of 3), James' desire is to create great songs / music and preach the Good News via the message of the songs that he's been given to touch and minister to the lives of those who hear them.
LATEST NEWS: One of James' songs, a remixed version of Don't Ask Me, has recently been included on the Quickstar Productions Compilation CD, United by Grace. Hopefully, the cd will be out soon but it's for a great cause and I'm excited to be a part of it.
Think of 3 is currently in the studio working on a new CD with Ken Kelemen from Hear the Ocean Studios (see top friends). A few of the songs on the site from these sessions are Freedom Jam, Train to Glory, and No I Don't.
OTHER NEWS: Two Think of 3 songs, Freedom Blues and Somewhere, are featured on Serenity House Compilation CD to benefit a hospice in Doylestown, PA; some of the artists on the CD are Jethro Tull, Annie Haslam (from Rennaisance. Pat Dinizio (from the Smithereens), Kathy Slede of Sister Sledge, Bob Miles (host of Miles of Music on Comcast in Bucks County, PA), Steve Pullara (popular children's artist), Jann Klose (up and coming artist). The CD release party was on Thursday, September 6th at The Puck which was very successful; the gig was video taped and the DVD is to be released shortly.
