Hi. THINK Together (THINK is an acronym for Teaching, Helping, Inspiring, and Nuturing Kids) is a nonprofit that's been around for more than a decade providing a safe place for kids to go after school, where they can: get academic help; learn all sorts of enrichment activities like science, math, and art; engage in physical activity and get tips and informtion about nutrition. THINK Together was founded when a local businessman, in response to a neighborhood gang shooting, formed a group that could provide a safe space for kids to go after school where they could get help with their homework. Over the last decade this effort has evolved into one of the fastest growing nonprofits in the country with more than 200 after school and community sites serving 35,000 students.
