Our Big Mistake
In 2003, my Mom lost her battle to breast cancer at the young age of 66. I am an only child, so I inherited her home. We then turned over the home we "were" living in.....to our eldest son, his wife and kids. "The bank" somehow deeded the house to them, but the mortgage remained in our name. I've always questioned this. We trusted our son to pay each month. About three years ago, they abandoned the home, left for Kentucky leaving us with the house and insurance payments. They put it on the market at an unGodly price. My husband sells real estate but our son and his then wife gave instructions that my husband or the company he works for can not show the house. He isn't allowed to sell it, but it's "ok" for us to make the monthly payments. Now we have been told the taxes have not been paid for a few years. We had a pretty good idea they weren't paying the taxes, but thought, if it did ever sell for taxes, we would buy it, then the troubles would be over. But no.......the bank informed us that they added the taxes to the mortgage, so now we have to pay MORE each month on a house we don't own and are not allowed to go to. We have been told the basement is full of water as the electric has been off for some time. Our son and his wife have since divorced and we haven't spoken to either one in years. We are at the point where we have had enough. If it ruins our credit........so be it. If I had it to do over again, I would have sold our home before moving into my Moms'. I trusted my son and thought we were doing a good thing for their family. I made a bad decision and we have been 'paying' for it for the last three or four years. So, if anyone sees our name in the paper, you know the story.

I'm doing pawsome:) I went to the groomer yesterday and got my fur done,hehe, I'm all pretty for turkey day:) Are you ready to gobble til' you wobble,bol!?! Hiya :) How are ya ?!? I'm doing good :) The weather was warmer so I had fun on my walkies in the park, it's much more fun to bark and chase squirrels when you're not freezing your tail off,bol. Sunday is Party day! On Sunday I'm going to two Halloween parties, one at the dog park and the other at the New York Dog Spa.
