About me: In 1991, two New York born Irish Catholic brothers graduated from college and decided to become firemen. At the same time, they decided to dream big and as a result, they opened a little bar in Manhattan called THIRD and LONG. When the bar opened, it became an instant hit in Murray Hill. Over the course of the past 15 years it has made its presence felt in the ever-changing neighborhood and now sits as the elder-statesman of the 3rd Avenue strip.
Follow the inner workings and daily interactions of a pretty cool and not-so-typical watering hole in NYC, in a not-so-typical neighborhood, Murray Hill. There may be some blurbs overheard at the bar, stimulating observations and random thoughts on random things. So be careful, you never know what might end up here!
