Recensione "Minchiadura Metal Fest II" by
Giovedì 31 luglio al Bier Garten si è tenuta la seconda
edizione del Minchiarura Metal Fest. Quest'anno la
manifestazione è stata all'insegna della
"conduzione familiare" messa in evidenza dalla
sicuramente non nuova e costante presenza di band
"onnipresenti". Questo a testimonianza del fatto che la
nostra cultura riferita al genere non è altro che un clone
di una lumaca…lenta ad emergere! [continua]

Ci vanno pesante questi Third Eye, e lo fanno in un modo che può sembrare eretico, eppure il loro New Metal è un qualcosa di realmente disturbante. A dire il vero non credo nemmeno che la definizione New Metal sia totalmente appropriata, forse meglio Crossover, ad ogni modo chi se ne frega. [continua]

C'è da dire che 'Behind' non ha quell'alone di clone che spesso pervade le produzioni di gruppi con forti ed identificabili influenze, anzi possiamo dire che questo prodotto ha molta personalità, si sente che il messaggio di 'Korn', 'Slipknot', 'System of a Down' è stato recepito e rielaborato in maniera personale e consapevole. Gli arrangiamenti sono semplici, diretti, senza troppi fronzoli, ogni pezzo scorre via con una buona fluidità e soprattutto, a mio modo di vedere, riesce a trasmettere quel tipo di semplice ed elementare furia che traspare dalle prime produzioni di Jonathan Davis e soci, caratteristica molto apprezzabile, soprattutto in un periodo dove sembra indispensabile dover andare a 260 bpm di metronomo ed avere voci simili a scarichi di lavandino otturato per comunicare sensazioni simili. I musicisti sono molto preparati, e riescono a rendere interessante una musica che, ad un primo ascolto, potrebbe sembrare molto deriativa. Si tratta di un lavoro decisamente promettente, che pone grandi promesse per il futuro. Nel senso che il gruppo sembra già preparatissimo per esordire in maniera decisa nella scena nazionale, ma al tempo stesso ha grandissimi margini di miglioramento. Se già ora riesce ad essere così interessante, pur essendo derivativo, a che livelli arriverà una volta che la sua proposta musicale sarà più personale? Davvero consigliati! [continua]

Third Eye formed in Palermo, Italy in October 2005 with the purpose of creating such a sound capable of expressing what could be described as a feeling of grudge and a deep interior dissatisfaction. The context in which the band lives is characterized by a society that basically ignores the extreme music. This because of limited chances the town itself offers, here’s what fed the desire of “screaming” a message against a wrong reality that doesn’t pass unnoticed to the eye target that only the truth can perceive.
So two friends, Enrico La Corte (drums) and Luca Delfino (vocals), who previously had shared together this philosophy, decided to bring about this new project in which he was immediately involved Gianluca "Ske" Schepis (guitar) and later Vittorio Ziino (bass) who was a childhood friend of Enrico. Giuseppe Musso (2nd guitar) joined the band in March 2008 thus enriching the sound and the final line-up.
Each individual member of the band holds a great passion and a fairly good musical experience that has contributed to try out new sounds, even more mixing different kinds of music, but always keeping a powerful and incisive sound.
The agreement absolutely not indifferent among the musicians surprised the expectations of themselves that in a few months carried-out a dozen songs well-defined and accurate in every detail.
The band matured so different live experiences in pubs and festivals, reaching an excellent feedback from the public and much support from friends and other people.
Currently the band owns a 5 track EP called “Behind”, recorded at Circle of Power studios in January 2008 and actually it's working on new songs for its first full lenght.
