Disbanded in 2007, Third Gear rose from the ashes of Deadly, with guitarist Dale Birnie and drummer Chad MacDonald reuniting with Russ Wilson, a former bandmate and lifelong friend who had been busy honing his bass style in Alberta for several years. Once they started jamming together again, the groove came rushing back, and all three knew that this was meant to be! CIRO is hosting '7 Blocks of Busking' July 5 in Kelowna. It will be an out door festival right downtown. Basically a big open mike night / fringe fest and good time. If you know anyone that might want to come out visit our Myspace or Facebook group for details. Kelly and Connor from the Cakewalk group are in the know too.
