Third Man Records, the imprint on which Jack White releases all of his music including The White Stripes and The Raconteurs, now has a physical location in downtown Nashville. White's new Third Man Records building serves as the company HQ and houses the label's offices plus a vinyl record store, photo studio, dark room and performance stage.
We are a new band hailing from Buffalo, NY. The band consists of members Ian Wiedrick ( of the band Speakerfire ) handling Vocals, Guitars, and Lyrics and Michael Novak Jr. ( Formerly of the band Every Time I Die ) on drums. As of right now we don't have a Bass Player, but when the time is right we will aquire one. We are currently looking for a record label and writing new songs. Hope you like what you hear, as we look forward to writing and playing music and touring very soon! Keep your eyes and ears open for more exciting news to come!

THE RUBYS FIRST BIRTHDAY EXTRAVAGANZA - 3 MORE SLEEPS
One year ago, on a lonely Wednesday evening at a forgettable Collingwood pub, The Rubys played their first gig. Twelve months on, the three scrappy-looking lads have under their belts better songs, more gigs and are infecting Melbourne audiences with catchy, raw, stomp rock n roll pretty much weekly. So to mark the milestone of reaching the ripe old age of one, The Rubys are celebrating with a birthday party! With around 40 gigs down over the previous year and a wildly raucous live set, there has been a lot of jumping around and beer consumed so this Friday at the Old Bar will be no exception. Expect some wild blues-driven sets by The Volatiles and The Bellows to warm things up, and the boy’s favourite two-piece The Cheats bringing it all home. 8:30 start, $8, Party hats provided.
Hope to see you down there and we can all rock out!!
Hello Third Man Records, Entranced by the sweet harmony of your lips, I gaze beyond reason to find the oasis of your brilliant soul. The stickers hugging the fruit smell better than the perfume of ambergris. May you always have stables of horses to service your needs. I desire to see life through your hallucinations so that they massage my viscera into an eternal state of turgid flux. Your layers of absinthe and torsion form concretions of hyper-alimentation. A starfish's lifelong hallucinations of gelatin pools and of actuaries floating upon the foam and reciprocal ohm. The elves that play in the toasters wash their drum sticks in honey and sing strikingly colored anthems in perfect harmonious pleasure. In your absence I am forced into finding other forms of amusement while thinking about you. May you be as vivid as your hallucinations. How it passes there and back again like a tear drop glistening in moonlight. How can I help but use your eyes as a means for self-asphyxiation? Please let me hear more of that wonderful sound.
