Look at the video sent to us from one of the 4,000 kids that was in the audience!

You can find out what the students have been doing since we made the film by getting a copy of the new DVD extras on our website!

About me:

The Third Monday in October is a feature length documentary film which follows the presidential elections of 12-year-old kids vying for the promise of leading their middle school student councils in the midst of the 2004 national Presidential election. Taking an intimate journey with these young candidates as they enter their races, through their campaigning, slogan writing, poster creating, public speaking, and debating, and up until the final emotional and dramatic day of school elections, this film shows a true slice of American politics, raw and uncensored, through the eyes and votes of American 12 year olds. .. .. Look at some of the cast at the Inauguration screening! ..

Who I'd like to meet:

"...Third Monday quakes with the wound-up nerves and angst-charged ambition of its bright, funny, precociously poised subjects..." Austin American Statesman __________________________________________________________________ "...Imagine Vote for Pedro: The Documentary, and you've got half the appeal of this lively and insightful chronicle of middle school class elections..." austinchronicle.com __________________________________________________________________ Check out our Website http://www.thirdmondayinoctober.com
