Third Party has a long and storied past. The band existed under several different permutations with Joe at the helm for a time until finally crystallizing into the unit as it exists today. In earlier years the band enjoyed a lot of attention throughout the NY metro area, garnering airplay with their songs "Fade To Grey," and "Pour Down Wednesday" on WRSU,WHTG, and WPRB, playing venues like The Court Tavern, Maxwells, Limelight, and CBGB's, and ultimately attracting management and a bunch of label interest. At the end of that era, though, nothing big had materialized for the group so the guys decided to call it quits, parting as friends, and Joe embarked on what would be a rather long and ardous solo mission...................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
Fast forward to spring of '07. Through a chance meeting between Lou and Joe at mutual friend Tony Shanahan's wedding, the sparks of Third Party were rekindled. It wasn't long before Joe, Lou, Franz, and Phil were back in a rehearsal space working and reworking some of the classics, and building the foundations of what would be Third Pary's next phase.......................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
