Hailing from the legendary rock and roll city of Cleveland, Ohio, Third Union brings to life a brutal mix of Hip Hop, Funk, and Hardcore sounds that have defined the Cleveland underground scene and beyond. Starting in late 2006 with the current line up, Third Union has ripped through audiences in such legendary venues as The Agora, The House of Blues, and Peabodys. Without a CD, Third Union has become a Cleveland favorite through continually bringing dynamic live performances opening for the likes of Soulfly, Mushroomhead, Hed PE, Body Count, Critical Bill, Nonpoint, Bury your Dead, and OTEP to name a few.
Now on the eve of their first CD release, Third Union is poised to make an impact on the national scene, with their 6 member militia. Starting with CHEEZ, spitting lyrics rapid and precise like a finely polished M-16. Fred Fanter's brutal assault on vocals rounds out the front men like a 2 headed snake. James "Bongo" Bongalis keeps the bass thumping and popping while Joe Scar, and Thaddeus Challis attack the guitars like madmen with chainsaws. Don't let the drummers baby face fool you, Kenny Easterly on percussion is the definition of Shock and Awe.
