… The Meteor hurtled through Space, blasting everything in its path to oblivion. This lifeless killing machines next stop was Earth, delivering devastating carnage for all its beings.
It seemed no-one could stop the awesome might of Space, the Army had failed, the Scientists had failed, all the Worlds leaders had failed (and were now hiding in underground bunkers thinking only of themselves, what futile ignorance they possessed!) it seemed the Earth was doomed… Mankind had failed.
The population panicked, for they knew they were nothing but Cattle awaiting the slaughter. People desperately sought shelter from the oncoming carnage, People went mad with fear, Women & Children were killed as people vainly fought for whatever shelter they could find… but unseen by any eye, 5 hooded Brothers slipped out of the shadows of London’s darkest alleyways and climbed to the peak of Mt. Fuji.
Upon the snow covered peak the 5 Brothers took weapons of Rock N’ Roll War in their hands, crafted from the same materials as the Bongs of the great Wizards, and summoning the awesome power of Mother Nature created a cacophony of Rock N’ Roll fury so powerfully magical that its sheer intensity thundered hard and fast deep into Space penetrating the Meteors surface and blowing it into billions of tiny fragments of Space dust!
After well received performances at Londons Infamous CLAPHAM GRAND & ASTORIA, and a support slot on DUFF McKAGANS LOADED UK TOUR the 5 hooded Brothers returned to the Dark alleyways from whence they came but were now revered as Warrior Kings, and were revealed to be the last remaining bastion of true, no bullshit, Rock N’ Roll. These hooded Warriors were known as The Captain, Hudson-Upon-Bass, Affe, Ollie & Andy Sinner… THIRTEEN WOLVES.

Welcome to the Future!!! Friendship for the Thanks!! It's official! Hawklords are confirmed to headline an all-day 'implosion' at London's Roundhouse on Sunday, March 8th. Following the success of the now-legendary 'Hernia Bay' Robert Calvert memorial concert, ex-Hawkwind/lords Nik Turner, Jerry Richards, Terry Ollis, Martin Griffin, Alan Davey, Adrian Shaw, Harvey Bainbridge, Ron Tree and Steve Swindells will be performing with special guests, including Bridget Wishart , (more to be confirmed) and four dancers (The Bubblettes!!!!) choreographed by Angel Flame. It promises to be a spectacular event, and will also be a special tribute to the late Barney Bubbles, who had such massive creative imput with Hawkwind/lords (an excellent book about BB called 'Reasons To Be Cheerful' by Paul Gorman is now available in Paul Smith shops worldwide). The stage set will be based on his original designs for The Space Ritual, which were never actually used, so this will be a first. Think Pythagorus and the music of the spheres. Doors open at 3pm. 'Space this watch' for more details, including support acts, as they emerge. Tickets are now available from... http://www. roundhouse. org. uk/whats-on/productions/the-space-ritual-2009-2925 Word that spread (and add your own URLS)!
