The second season of our television show debuts on Sunday, May 4 at 10 pm ET/PT.
By now you know that we’re producing a TV show. Maybe you heard Ira mention it during a pledge drive or caught the piece on NPR. And maybe you have questions. What would a TV version of This American Life look like? And is making one even a good idea? Believe us, we’ve wondered all of that ourselves. But now we’re done, and we’re super excited.
Our first season of half-hour episodes debuts March 22nd on Showtime. We wanted to make a TV show that feels like the radio show, but isn’t just the radio show on TV. Take a look and these clips and trailers and tell us what you think. Put them on your MySpace pages and we’ll be eternally grateful:

About this page: I have been very active in Domestic Violence causes all of my adult life. I noticed a need in the world pertaining to Same Sex Domestic Violence. It happens more than people know. Unfortunately there are a number of gay people who barely consider themselves worthy or valued as a gay person much less a Domestic Violence Victim. There are also very limited resources, statistics, or information, for Same Sex Domestic Violence. Hopefully through empowerment and education we can change some of this. :D ~ Dee ~
I find it odd that U2 is getting all the attention for playing at the 20th anniversary of the wall coming down in Germany. For me, it would be far more interesting (and appropriate) if Einstürzende Neubauten played. They could cover a Scorpions song. Someone get me Hasselhoff on the phone!
Your show about the devil was a miracle. It really brought me closer to God. I also loved how you are obviously a God fearing person. I am too, but sometimes I wonder if some of my songs are too negative. It reminded me about how I need to be more positive and stay away from the trappings. yet, I have written these almost 200 songs for this band and they are all real, but I wonder if they are all good. Is that a bad thing?

Its sort of sad to see that your bulletin has become nothing more than an ad site for aspiring bands and musicians. Although I am one of those... This is NOT why I am here - well... only part of the reason. I want to thank you for discovering Planet Money, doing excellent reports this past two years on the economy, and just in general entertaining me when no one else was able. I take your show as a real work of art, and I hope to one day meet you. You are one of the few I hold up with very high esteem. Your podcasts (along with Planet Money's - and other NPR shows) make my terrible work day somewhat bearable. I wish you would make more of them each week and definitely make your cable show available for free podcast download. It might even encourage me to get a video capable iPod or something...
