Hi, my name is Jay. I'm a poet. My biggest influence has always been E.E. Cummings, who is my favorite poet. Some of my poetry is pretty extreme, and most of it is very dark. I tend to tackle some controversial subjects that others stay away from. I post all my poetry in my blog on a regular basis. Everyone is welcome to read them, and comments are very much appreciated. I hope everyone enjoys them.

I'm a stocky, masculine, single gay White/Hispanic male. Despite what you may read in my poetry, I'm actually a very positive-thinking, genuinely nice guy. I'm very laid back, very affectionate, and I'm looking for that one special man who wants to share his life with me, and won't run away at the first sign of trouble. Someone who won't judge me on my appearance alone, because they'll be missing out on the best part of me:

I'm a HUGE movie fanatic, and collector. I currently have over 4,000 DVDs, and I'm still collecting. My favorite film genres are Horror, Independent, Underground/Arthouse and Foreign, but I do enjoy films in other genres as well. My all time favorite movie is "BLUE VELVET".

I'm also a big music fan. I listen almost exclusively to Alternative Rock. I do enjoy other music as well, but Alternative Rock is my favorite. My very favorite bands are: SMASHING PUMPKINS, TOOL, & THE SMITHS/MORRISSEY.

I'm also a bookworm. I love Horror novels, especially Zombie stories, Vampire stories, and Ghost stories. Some of my favorite authors are: Z.A. Recht, Anthony Giangregorio, Brian Keene, Stephen King, Anne Rice, William S. Burroughs, David Wellington, and many more.

One of my addictions is getting Tattooed and Pierced. I currently have 19 Tattoos, 10 Body Piercings, and a Dermal Implant (photos of most of them are in my 'Pics'), and I plan on getting many more. I think body art is just as beautiful as any other type of art.

I love animals, especially cats. I have 3 of them, who I consider my children. Their names are: George(9), Sasha (8), and Casey (5). I don't know what I'd do without them.
