This Co. es una banda chilena que combina influencias del Post-Punk y el New Wave en un formato híbrido entre el rock y la electrónica. Gracias a su particular sonido y una puesta en escena muy cuidada, hace de sus directos una experiencia muy potente.
La banda surge inicialmente bajo el nombre de Macanudo como un dúo de guitarras y bases electrónicas compuesto por Jorge Christie y Nicolás Rebolledo (Chileno Medio). Tras la incorporación de Carlos Vergara (Federación de Boxeo, Crack) en el bajo, la banda pasa a llamarse This Co. y a consolidar, con nuevos temas y un sonido más contundente, lo que ya se había iniciado.
Durante el año 2007 This Co. se presenta en los principales escenarios de la escena local, destacándose su presentación junto a Nouvelle Vague en el festival EIMA y su participación en el ciclo Cada Canción una Historia, que le valdría una mención en la revista Rolling Stone.
El 2008 lanza su primer disco homónimo con un cerrado apoyo de la prensa especializada y del público general. Varios temas del disco serían posteriormente remixeados por Garbo, El Sueño de la Casa Propia (E.S.D.L.C.P.) y Fiat 600.
Ese mismo año y tras la incorporación de Cristián Aranda (Federación de Boxeo, Crack) en la batería, se presentan junto a The Twelves en Kubix y lanzan el video del single “As you know” que queda preseleccionado como uno de los 10 videos más pedidos de MTV.
Ya en el 2009 y con nuevas canciones a su haber, This Co. realiza un tour por Europa, tocando en Barcelona, Weimar y Berlín, en 4 excelentes presentaciones que confirman las proyecciones internacionales de la banda.

This Co. Is a Chilean band that combines Post-Punk and New Wave into a hybrid between rock and electronic. Thanks to its particular sound and meticulously designed stage show it creates an intense experience.
The band was formed initially under the name Macanudo as a duel of guitars and electronic bases by Jorge Christie and Nicolás Rebolledo (Chileno Medio). With the incorporation of Carlos Vergara (Federación de Boxeo, Crack) on the bass, the band began to call themselves This Co. and to consolidate, with new songs and a more mature sound, that which had already been started.
In 2007 This Co. played the principal stages of the local scene, presenting with Nouvelle Vague at the EIMA festival and also at the Cada Canción Una Historia cycle, that received a very good mention in Rolling Stone magazine.
The 2008 launch of their self-titled debut earned the support of the specialized and the general public. Various songs on the album have been remixed by Garbo, El Sueño de la Casa Propia (E.S.D.L.C.P.) and Fiat 600. This same year, with the incorporation of Cristián Aranda (Federación de Boxeo, Crack) on the drums presented with The Twelves in Kubix and launched the video of their single “As you know” preselected as one of the 10 most resquested on MTV.
Recently and with new songs in their repertoire, This Co. toured Europe and played in Barcelona, Weimar and Berlin on July 2009, in four excellent presentations that confirmed the international projections of the band.
