   About This Et Al (R.I.P - Nov ’02-Jun ’08)
R.I.P: This Et Al - Nov' 2002 - Jun' 2008.

Hello all.

It is with great regret we announce the end of This Et Al.

We've had a great time as TEA but cracks have been forming over the past few years, some relationships within the band had broken down and we've now decided to move on with other things. Further releases were planned but TEA has sadly become unworkable.

We extend our thanks and gratitude (and apologies) to all the lovely people we've worked with or made slaves of over the years, our true friends, our families and of course to all the folks who've made the effort to see us play and buy our records. Thank you.

There are no immediate plans for new projects but there will be in time, so it isn't all bad news. Watch this space.

We had high hopes for our latest EP to lead to an album, but it's sadly the only new material we will be releasing. Only 500 were made so head over to www.onthebonerecords.com to pick one up.

As a fond TEA farewell, we will be releasing the originally planned retrospective 'B-Sides & Rarities' collection (details TBA), including B-sides (obviously) and other unreleased material (some you may have, some you may not).Keep your eye on www.thisetal.com or www.myspace.com/thisetal for more info and updates.

Lots and lots of love.

Over and out..................

TEA Team x

Loving the b-sides rarities on your website, still gutted about the split of one of the best british bands ever.

I have many Bands under My belt and to this day it is really hard to find musik that sounds so real as Yours did. As I am currently listening to the early demos they have become timeless pieces of My collection I also have enjoyed all of the later tunes as well. Im deeply sadden by the news of Your disbanned. Honestly this is like losing a part of soul but I still have Your noize to mourn to. Well I wish You all the best, Hugs from Your hugest Fan from L.A., Rob.

Sunday Funday presents Peace Drum @ Love Apple BFD

Sep 29 2008 6:10 PM

Sunday Funday is the not-for-profit inaugural post-clubbing chill-out monthly sunday evening event mixing live acts, DJs, dance, spoken word and circus in a student-friendly Bradford arty city centre venue. Translocating the summer festival vibe into the Love Apple Café Bar (near the Alhambra Theatre - see the map on our MySpace), action packed with all the fun of the fair, Sunday Funday is a great excuse to ditch the crap sunday night telly, and party with no stress. Open-minded, multi-cultural, multi-genre, you'll hear just about anything at our gigs. Whether it's funk, punk, reggae, hip hop, house, techno, dub, breaks, meaningful accoustic sets, or bitesized chunks of world music, we're down with all chilled-out vibes.

To reduce our carbon footprint, we showcase local acts as possible, giving maximum exposure to the stars of tomorrow, in conjunction with Fresh Milk (the Wild West Yorkshire music facilitators), we're helping new artists gain grass roots exposure. On the Sunday October the 5th bill, there's Freyed Knot headlining, plus Divine Shakras, Harris, DJ Shi'me, DJ Immi, Flloyd de Sousa, Meats, and many, many more. This time there's breakdance crew the Soul Monkeys, and future performances will include belly dance and burlesque, and live performance art. Entry is always a mere £3, with beer/lager/real ale at £2 a pint, and fresh veggie and meat hot dogs to keep thirst and hunger under check. There's no dress code, fancy dress optional but welcome.

We're not funded or sponsored in any way, and rely on the kindness and generosity of our able volunteers, so if you want Sunday Funday to suceed, show your support by turning up at the Love Apple carnival between 5 and 11pm and having one hell of a good time. Turn up, tune in, and chill!!!

Peace 'n' Love Apples,

Sunday Funday Crew

Ummm... may I ask what you're doing? Don't go doing this to us now lads... It's not really very fair is it?

Baby Machine was one of the best albums i've heard in a long time. I think the best thing to do is...

Fight!

another bloody great band shedding its collective load for the bastards! or something more kind, but very disapointed but hope you are all keeping well and everything and hope there are more projects maybe in the pipeline for some of you as it would be a great shame to loose that fantastic edge you guys have to pop and pap.
you will be missed
