September 21st 2007, a conclave took place between an engineer, an architect, a sociologist, an actor and an artist. Each of these professionals had come to a breakthrough in his/her respective field. As they all took turns describing their findings it became clear that each discovery lead to a common conclusion. Upon this realization the group decided to pool their efforts in their attempt to materialize the practical applications of this apparent universal theory. For months they drew up plans, tested their theory, collected data, wrote down notes, adjusted their plans and retested the theory. Their efforts proved to be somewhat successful in July of 2008; a step forward, which energized the group and, much like Santiago upon catching a ten-pound albacore that could be used for bait, restored faith in their expedition.
Advancements, relatively big and small, continue to be made day by day and, while being aware that great things are built with much time and toil, the group remains confident by keeping their minds on the invention at hand…
