The nickname "Actually" came from my sister. It sounds a lot like my name, Ashley. I've been playing for a few years now on my Taylor guitars and occasionally I add harmonica. Neil Young is a huge inspiration; as are my life experiences. My songs are for the most part very personal and tell a story. The music is pretty simple for the time being. Everyday I learn more about the guitar and I try to incorporate that into what I produce, but the lyrics are my main priority. There isn't much that hasn't been done in Folk music, but still I strive to make what I create as original as possible- and it is possible! Its a pleasure to play for all of those who listen and its a pleasure to receive feedback! After all, it is your ears that the music falls upon. I hope my music creates some insight to your life, the way we perceive it and mostly, I hope you enjoy it!
