Loosely formed in late 2003, Addison played their first show at Maverick's in Ottawa in the winter of 2004. In early 2005 Addison entered the University of Ottawa battle of the bands and won. They entered another band wars competition in early 2006 hosted by 106.9 The Bear and Molson Rock Resolution. From this event they were awarded the number one prize in Ottawa which included recording time at Blue Bear Studios, a show at Canadian Music Week in Toronto, and a 5 city tour of Ontario on the Molson Rocks bus in the Spring.
Addison played the final round of Live 88.5's big money shot at Capital Music Hall for $50,000. They also shared the stage with touring acts Mobile, The Mark Inside, and Cities in Dust last fall, and Sloan in the winter.
In July 2006 Addison released a 6 song EP titled 'Basically I Like Your Face A Lot'. Hard copies are currently being sold at shows and on (inter)NATIONAL BROADBAND INTERNET.
