I kind of just sat there and told Richard that yes, I rejected it, and he got all mad. Then I texted Dan saying the freeze sucks anyways come save me, and Richard was like OH YOU HAVE A FANCY BLUEBERRY PHONE DANS FRIEND ASHLEIGH SCARLETT PINKCARSTOPS IS TOO GOOD TO TALK TO ME!!! and I just looked at him, one eyebrow raised, and said "really richard? really?" then I told him he looks like a medieval blacksmith and I wouldn't pose with a gourd anyways. strange thing is, their booklet lists their address and it sounded familiar so i looked it up and it's a few houses down from where max used to live on the wesleyan campus. same school that MGMT came out of too, and some others.
i can't believe i missed seeing them.... too little too late. if i had gone to the providence show i guess a bunch of people without tickets managed to get inside but i didn't bother. LAME.

how do you feel about Super Black Market Clash? it's the only Clash album i've listened to in the last year or more. not because the others are bad (obviously) but just because they're old hat now. SBMC is really good though, i think. i like the dub songs but i guess i can see why they're not as popular for clash fans. I still need Sandinista, damnit!
