Turning leaves is the debut album from Arc. A young four piece band based in Wiltshire -
the land of green fields, crop circles, pagan rituals and UFO contacts.
The band are fronted by multi-instrumentalist Tim Gilvin, who has previously released
three self-produced solo albums under his own name. The band formed in 2005, and under the guidance of Stuart Rowe (Lighterthief) at Swindon's Rock School, they began to twist their various influences together to create the great rock/pop songs that make up their debut album.
This heady mix of acid-space rock, ethereal ballads and catchy but haunted pop songs was
released on the 5th January 2009, and can be bought from iTunes or from http://www.infernal-machine.co.uk
Pacha mama's living up in the hills She’s talking about the city and the sickness still Naked as bone a lone voice in the night She’s sown the seeds of the choice the choice that made right She delights in the quake in the wave in the mass In the planetoid strike in the nuclear blast And she calls to them all have you heard me at last How far can you walk along this crooked path?
