With members of the band originating from England, New Zealand and Australia the music influences of Chinook span across many genres and styles. Hidden in amongst the melodies are an a assortment of flavours that include Alt-Country, Brit-pop and Dylan-esque Folk, all with lush three part harmonies flowing their way through the tunes.

Melbourne based Indie band Chinook came together in late 2006. Playing in goal for the band is Ryan James, with the solid backline of Gareth Murphy, on the left of midfield is Moira Reed and playing on the right wing is Ed Reed.
