Cholewka and Marsh write Discovery's catchy, sparse pop with deep disco and jazzy flourishes. Ladies quiver, sweat and screeeeam at their performances. The group featured in Italian Vogue and Germany's Z magazine has been called "post-punk meets tropicalia" and "Eastern European nu wave." Their influences are vast--you might hear covers of Smokey Robinson, The Rolling Stones, George Benson, or Nu Shooz tunes. Fans leave Discovery live shows singing--first-timer listeners wake up with Discovery songs still in their heads. They are recording an LP now.
