I started out vocally singing jazz lead, and solo musical theatre pieces, followed by vocals for a Christian band. Writing my own songs and completing a 1st class degree in English Literature, I started playing/singing covers and my own original material at acoustic cafe nights in Liverpool. My biggest influences are Madonna, Jewel,
Alanis and Delta. I recorded two demos and in 2008, started gigging and showcasing original material around London with guitarist Dan Storey (Mutya Buena, Alesha Dixon) and an acoustic band. In December 08 I sang for David Grindrod and Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber. In the Fame Games Effigy Awards 2008 my song "Lucky One" was voted Best Song in Style - Pop.
In January 09, with Dan Storey, we formed our first full electric band and have played all over London and in Liverpool. My Lucky One EP, with feisty, emotive and lyrical tracks also went on sale from itunes, www.cdbaby.com, www.amazon.com and received nationwide radio play and numerous featured artist slots.
My latest EP, Conversation is now being played worldwide, with acoustic performances also on Youtube. I work with Deuce Promotions, UpAllNight and Substance Music, DeadOrAlive and Bugbear promotions. I currently also lead vocals at a Mayfair church and at private events. I am likened to Jewel, The Corrs, Texas, Delta Goodrem and Madonna in style and sound. My songs have delicate, moody and catchy qualities that represent the
fierceness of vulnerability...

It was my pleasure to play "Conversation" on my weekly, 30-minute podcast featuring mainstream, independent music. The direct link to the show is: http://indiemusicsampler.com/2009/07/10/ims-140/
In a few days, the song will also be added to Indie Music Sampler radio which plays out some of the best in independent music commercial-free 24x7.
