GOODTIMES GOODTIMES throw these blues on the carnival bandstand and dance around them with a smile from ear to ear. A beautiful defiance of and lust for life.
Glue is the first full length studio recording by GOODTIMES GOODTIMES. Well, full length bedroom recording would be more appropriate. That’s where all ten of these songs were written and recorded by Franc (Francesco Cinelli to his mum).
Since he was a nipper he’s been writing, recording and performing music. An Italian raised in London, he has filtered his roots through the multicultural sieve to forge a unique identity and create an equally distinctive sound. A veritable 21st century journeyman with a restless presence both on and off the stage that belies his gentle character and conversation.
The songs draw from traditional blues, folk and country music and are infused with the musings of a young man who is as much at home in Soho as in Rome’s Trastevere and more recently the Lower East Side; the result is an honest and soulful songcraft that’s enchanting and easy to fall in love with. It is the glue that ties us to one another through the entire gamut of emotions. “Desire” aches with the darkness of lost love; whilst “Summer” and “Sunshine Sunshine” are more obviously concerned with the morning light in our lives. “Kids” puts a lump in your throat but “Sea Shanty” and “Shake” get your feet stomping. Described by rock sound as “Irresistibly rustic, fantastic folky songwriting delivered with a husky authenticity that’ll keep you smiling”, GOODTIMES GOODTIMES taps into the human vein of life, love, of losing…and winning.
The last couple of years have been spent gigging in venues, pubs and front rooms from Hastings to Stornoway via the US East Coast. In a variety of guises, GTGT has graced the airwaves and your music television, filled the review columns and indelibly touched audiences with haunting honesty and a piercing gaze.

It's the way you play that makes it . . . Play like you play. Play like you think, and then you got it, if you're going to get it. And whatever you get, that's you, so that's your story. -- Count Basie
